In recent years, the national holiday means the golden week as well, which is a short holiday that all people expect to. With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. Besides, for those people who would not go out, it’s a good time to have a good rest as well. Therefore, the national day means a lot to the Chinese.

　　10月1日是我國的國慶節(jié)，這是全國的共同節(jié)日。這一天是中華人民共和國開始的標志。在那天，全國到處都有很多慶�；顒�，上至中央政府到普通老百姓。公共場所，包括大的廣場和公園，都裝飾成節(jié)日主題。近年，國慶節(jié)同樣也是所有人都期待的短假黃金周。隨著生活水平的提高，人們又更多的錢和渴望去旅游，黃金周對他們來說是一個很好的機會。除此之外，對于那些不想外出的人來說同樣也是休息的好時機。因此，國慶節(jié)對中國人來說意味著很多。
